Prof. Mofrad leads the Molecular Cell Biomechanics Laboratory, pursuing a multidisciplinary research program at the interface of biomechanics, mechanobiology, artificial intelligence, and computational biology. The laboratory investigates how physical forces shape biological structure and function across molecular, cellular, and multicellular scales.
